Tinnitus is defined as the observation of sound within the human ear in the nonexistence of subsequent exterior sound. Tinnitus as known by many is not a disease; it is a kind of symptom wherein it includes ear problems. When a person grows old, tinnitus can come in natural ways because of aging; it can also be a side effect of medications that had been taken from the past and it can lead to hearing loss. But the most general cause of tinnitus is the noise-induced hearing impairment.

Tinnitus is subject for a test in our days; it can start from an ordinary symptom and can go farther as big health problem. And the young generation of our time suffers more hearing impairment and tinnitus because of the development in technology that allows sound to be louder. With the innovation of Ipod, Mp3’s and other gadgets that can be used to the ear nowadays are often the reason of having a loss of hearing and tinnitus. These things deliver a high decibel of sound waves to the ear and damage it.

As of the present, there are still no cures for tinnitus, so suggested treatment on acceptance and proper management are being implemented. Many people are having a hard time distinguishing and accepting the fact that they suffer from tinnitus. It is hard for them because with the condition, they cannot take out the focus from the noise that tinnitus is bringing them. Though tinnitus cure is not yet available, preventing from having it may still be done. First is to avoid loud noises, in other words, avoid noise pollution. Too much noise can definitely irritate the eardrums and can lead to tinnitus. Second is to avoid too much stress. Stress can result to different health problems and disorders. Since tinnitus cure is not yet been invented, we must take all precautions to protect our hearing from problems and disorders.
